• Unit 5 Test Friday - Study tools for the Unit Due Friday too!

  Be sure to have completed your study tool ready to share when asked in class prior to taking the test on Friday 3/13.  

  Students have been instructed to work on and add to this study tool for the unit since we began Unit 5 before Feb. break.  It has been on each activity list as a reminder.

  Students should review their activities and create a study tool for Unit 5 Classification Gr. 6 to prepare for the quiz Friday

• Quiz 2 - Human Body lists 4 (digestive) 5 (circulatory) and 6 (respiratory) systems is Wed 1/22

  Review vocabulary and graphic organizer information regularly that should be included on your HB Gr 6 study tool (lists 1-6 should be on that tool as of Tuesday)

• HB Gr 6 study tool up through list 6 vocab and graphic organizer info Due Tues for quiz Wed

  The students were shown how to create and add vocabulary and important topic information for the Human Body Unit to a Google Slide study tool .  

  They worked on initially adding list 1 before holiday break, then added lists  2 and 3 when we returned from break to prepare for Quiz 1.  

  They have been reminded daily in the last 2 weeks, including a full period of study tool work on Friday, to add the vocab and graphic organizer info. from lists 4-6 to that tool to prepare for Quiz 2 on Wed 1/22.  

   Their study tools will be checked on Tuesday to ensure they have been preparing for the quiz in place a formal review packet, which we do not provide for quizzes in grade 6 Science, only Tests and Quarterly exams.

• Midterm Wed 1/15 - review blank and key on GC - MAKE STUDY TOOL!

  Students were given and worked on the Midterm Review packet in class on Thurs. 1/9.  The answers were reviewed in class and posted on the Google Classroom for future reference.  

   

  Students are required to show they are reviewing by creating a study tool on Google Slides.

• Unit 4 list 4- Digestive System - started today

  Students began the 4th list of the Human Body Unit.  This list is is not to be worked on for homework on Tuesday as they should be preparing for their quiz on lists 1-3.  

  There will be time to finish some activities after the quiz on Wed. and also there is time Wed and Thurs night to finish up any activities for the list check on Friday 1/10.
